Notorious D.O.G. Dog Rescue

This is Miracle. We don't know his history, but we do know his current state is critical. Miracle was brought in to the Pell City Animal Shelter in this condition and a volunteer reached out to the public with a rescue plea knowing he may not survive long in the shelter environment. No rescues offered support, so we knew that we must.

Miracle has so many scars on his face and body, his ears are split in two, his face has what may be a birth defect or remnants of abuse, most of his tongue has been removed, he has an open wound on his back leg, and he is extremely emaciated.

Miracle is very heartworm positive, and as some may know, this treatment alone is extremely costly. He will also need vaccinations once his immune system has had time to recover and he will also need neutering in his future. We will also have talk with our veterinarian about the best ways to increase his weight in addition to dry food due to having food restrictions with his lack of tongue (no wet foods), therefore, a special diet could also incur expenses.

We want to do everything in our power to help this boy survive and find his forever home because humans seem to have failed him over and over. He deserves a chance at a happy ending.
