Note in the Pocket, Inc.

Hey everyone.  Sigma Chi Alpha Tau of UNC Chapel Hill is attempting to raise money for Note in the Pocket, a nonprofit that provides clothing for impoverished children and their immediate families in Wake County, NC.  We attempt to spread awareness about the charity through our weeklong philanthropy known as Derby Days.  Some of the events of Derby Days include a cook out and a powderpuff football tournament.

For the fifth year running, the UNC Sigma Chi chapter has partnered with Note in the Pocket in an effort to support local schoolchildren and their need for clothing for our Derby Days fundraiser. This philanthropic initiative is very important to our Sigma Chi Chapter as well as our annual partner, Note in the Pocket. Fortunately, we have been very successful in the last few years and would love to continue our positive trend.

For the third year in a row, Sigma Chi at UNC-Chapel Hill has paired up with Note in the Pocket, a local nonprofit charity geared towards providing underprivileged children with clothing to give them the poise and confidence to succeed in school and beyond. Our goal of $25,000 is our most ambitious yet, but we believe with your help we can achieve this mark, helping Note in the Pocket meet all of their needs to continue operating each year, and expanding their reach to as many children as possible.

Because Note in the Pocket is a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, all donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt via email from PayPal upon donating.
