Northside 24 Hour Club Inc.

My name is Michael Tippett, and I am raising money for Northside 24 Hour Club in Houston.  Here is why...

Through God’s grace and mercy, I am living sober at the 3/4 house at Northside.  Once homeless and a complete mess, Northside has not only been a place of refuge for me in dealing with my addiction and having a place to live, but I am able to pour my heart into helping others here.  

Northside 24 Hour Club provides accommodations to men seeking rehabilitation from alcohol and substance abuse.  It has both a 90-day 1/2 way house program and an 18-month 3/4 house program.  It also serves as home to the 25th Hour Group. 

Why does Northside need your help?

COVID-19 has impacted our world in many ways, including increased addiction to drugs and alcohol. Despite the growing need for addiction services, several Houston-area 1/2 way houses have also had to close as a result of COVID-19.  

Northside remains open but in great need of repairs.  If the repairs are not completed and appropriate permitting obtained, Northside may be required to reduce the accommodations it provides to men in need of a sober living community.  

In addition to repairs, Northside needs a kitchen.  It currently operates with only a pantry.  Making these critical repairs and improving the facilities will enable Northside to continue the important work it does, including helping me and giving me a place where I can help others.
