There’s nothing like waiting backstage for the musical to begin. A new world is about to snap into life – electric, vibrant, sassy, moving – it is an experience like no other.  Kids who take that step onto the stage remember the power of that moment for their entire lives. It is living, singing, dancing art.

But right now at NHS, the annual musical may be on the endangered list. We need your help to make sure that next year and every year, NHS can produce the annual musical. We have only 6 months to raise enough money for next year’s show!

It costs $20,000 to put on a musical to pay for rights to a Broadway production; to hire 3-6 outside staff to direct, rehearse and produce at fair stipend ; to rent the necessary technical equipment, and to build a set. We've been working steadily to make our musical financially sustainable, but we need to establish a safety net equal to the funds for one production before we can move forward next year.

NHS has a long history of excellent student musicals. Over 1000 tickets were sold to last year's show--testimony to the popularity of this event. Please help us to keep our musical alive and strong.
