North Howell Field Renovation Project
Dear Families,
North Howell Little League is beginning a field-renovation project in the Fall of 2022.
The current condition of Field 5
Since our league runs entirely on volunteers and our budget is purely based on the money we receive from families and registration, there is often little left over when the spring season ends.
We looked into the costs to renovate the fields and were blown away by how much they were:
- Permanent dugout roofs (metal): $5,000
- Re-cut infield lips, add dirt and grade all fields: $25,000
- New bases, plates, pitching rubbers on all fields: $2,500
- Mound rebuilds on all fields: $6,000
- Fence Repair (throughout facility): $7,500
- Aerate and seed all playing grass: $15,000
Field 3 needs a lot of help
We understand that our families already contribute money toward our league with registration fees but a project like the one outlined above has a considerable cost. Because we know that times are tough, we will reward our donors with credit for the Spring 2022 Season. The credit structure is below, along with an example.
- BRONZE: $100+ donation = $15 credit
- SILVER: 250+ donation = $30 credit
- GOLD: 500+ donation = $100 credit
- PLATNIUM: $750+ donation = $175 credit
- DIAMOND: $1,000+ donation = $250 credit
Example: The Koufax family donates $600 which includes money from Grandma, Aunt Joanie, Uncle Bob and their close friend Barbara. Each donator writes a note (which can be done during the donation process) that this donation is for the “Koufax Family”. You could also collect the money from friends and family and donate on their behalf. Ultimately, the Koufax family would receive $100 credit toward the Spring Season!
