This past year, New Root's beloved Beet Mobile breathed its last breath on the side of Highway 71 on the way to Rootbound Farm. The Beet Mobile is an integral part of our work at New Roots, where we connect ~650 families in Louisville to a consistent supply of affordable, farm-fresh, organic produce from small, family farms in Kentucky. Without the Beet Mobile, we are unable to transport these fresh fruits and vegetables for families living with fresh food insecurity, in neighborhoods with very limited or no other supply. We have a matching grant, so every dollar we raise on this site will be matched 1:1. Please help us purchase our new truck so we can continue uniting communities to spread food justice across Kentuckiana. We need these funds by the end of March, 2022.
