Fund NARIOP: Enhancing Academics for At-Risk Youth
New Light At Risk Intergenerational Outreach Program.
NARIOP has been successful for over 30 years. It is our desire to continue the quality and success of this program. NARIOP is a center designed for students suspended from school as a center that provides an environment of a regular school setting.
On behalf of the New Light At Risk Intergenerational Outreach Program, a vital program which supports K-12 students who are suspended from school. Parents and Guardians need our safe nurturing environment to continue their academics during the school day.
As we approach the 2025-2026 school year, we find ourselves facing significant financial challenges that threaten the sustainability and success of the program. To continue providing essential services, we urgently need additional funding to support staff, enhance parent resources, and invest in necessary technological upgrades. To help us maintain the success of the program we are seeking your financial support. Presently we need staff to operate our program this year/ The positions include Middle and Highschool Academic Coaches, Clerical Assistant and Counselor. Grade Level Mentors for our new focus on workforce development, apprenticeship, environmental vocational opportunities and leadership skills as well as social emotional needs.
