Our sweet batman came in as a really bad case...absolutely a mess. 1st we battled infection of lungs...along with severe diarrhea. We were very concerned if he would survive though all this. He is a fighter. He ate and ate and ate and drank and had antibiotics ,electrolytles ulcer meds...more good food...he is now a spicy little pony. There is another thing with him that needs addressing. We think he was beat up pretty good being small and in the lots..we think his hip or pelvis is out of socket. ...we need to being him to a clinic with better machines. Then when we see whats wrong we can address his issues as needed. If you see how he gallops aound with his leg like that in his videos. Please help our 501 c3 rescue ! Hemi is a giant...18 hh..Hemi has been with us a year now. We have fixed several of his issues from neglect. There is one issue we need looked into. Although Hemi has been sound he has heat in one of his back feet on and off throughout the year. Although I have had 3 field vets look at it and we have been treating it different ways it still really bothers him. It may be a deeper infection than anticipated. This is holding up this big beautiful moving fancy boy from being offered for adoption. We are planning on bringing him into the clinic to figure it out so hemi can finally find his person. PLEASE HELP if you can. Every dollar helps us get these horses in homes so we can help more.
