About New Jersey Black Women Physicians Association

The New Jersey Black Women Physicians Association, (NJBWPA) is a nonprofit organization and network of black female physicians dedicated to the elimination of health disparities and the promotion of healthy lifestyles among African Americans and other underserved populations. We believe that exemplary health care should be accessible and affordable to all and are dedicated to improving health in minority populations and committed to advocacy and diversity. Through working with government officials we help improve health indicators and metrics for communities of color and decrease health disparities. We also are committed to the empowerment and wellbeing of current and future black female physicians. We are guided by ethical principles in all we do and strive for excellence in our work!
