New Hope Peru

Hi, I’m Alvaro Berrios, and as a Christian, I believe every child is created in God’s image and deserves the love and security of a family.

I’m launching this fundraiser to support New Hope Peru, an incredible organization dedicated to providing family-based solutions for children outside of parental care. Their mission is focused on ensuring children grow up in nurturing family environments, as both Scripture and social science affirm that children thrive best in loving homes.

New Hope Peru works tirelessly to reunite children with biological families, find kinship placements, and facilitate adoptions when possible. They are also part of a coalition advocating for foster care in Peru, knowing that every child thrives best in a family.

Inspired by James 1:27, which calls us to care for orphans in their distress, I invite you to join me in making a lasting impact. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to ensuring these children have a loving place to call home.

The name of the business project is "Hope Bakery" (Panadería de Esperanza), which aims to support children in foster care and residential care, helping them heal from trauma with the help of the Lord and New Hope Peru.

Hope Bakery is one of New Hope Peru’s productive departments, focused on generating financial resources by managing the production and sales of bakery products to support the sustainability of New Hope Peru.

Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ for these children.
