New Harvest is laying the groundwork for the future of agriculture by reimagining how we produce food using cells (aka cellular agriculture). Founded in 2004, we are the world’s longest-running nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cellular agriculture for the public good. This purpose acknowledges that the advancement of the public good is not inherently embedded in technological progress. To ensure cell ag delivers a more sustainable, secure, and safe food system for both people and the planet, we support open research and industry-wide initiatives to accelerate scientific breakthroughs and address shared challenges that transcend private interests. Although our work is international in scope, we are a registered foundation in the Netherlands, and charity in the US and Canada.
