Chicago is home to the most mass shootings in America this year. Enough is enough. It's time to end the violence, it's time to rally together.
Pastor Corey B. Brooks is a community champion and pastor in one of the worst neighborhoods on Chicago’s south side. In an attempt to draw attention to all the gang violence, drug dealing and prostitution happening in and around the motel across from his church, Pastor Brooks camped atop the motel in the middle of winter in 2011 to shut it down.
Now, during a surge in gang violence, Pastor Brooks is asking for ALL AMERICANS around the country to UNITE and rally together to fight against gun violence, provide opportunities for change, and prove that miracles do exist. This effort requires that we ALL work together to stop the violence and make a real difference.
New Beginnings Church is leading a Unity Rally on Sunday, September 15, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 6620 S. King Drive, Chicago, IL 60637 to save the church and help the community heal from the violence that is killing children and destroying families.
