Please join us in supporting a very special group of girls that are in the process of creating lifelong memories and potentially making history on the national stage.  Our 10U 08’ Nevada Lightning Fastpitch team has been invited to a PGF Select Tournament in Ohio this Spring and has also already secured a berth in the PGF Nationals Tournament later this summer.  These invitations and berths are secured by only the best teams in the country and we are proud to be able to say that our girls’ hard work has earned them this amazing opportunity.  While the hard work is a feat unto itself, now comes the tougher part.  We must find a way to fund the travel and entry fees that can and will add up fast for tournaments like these and we want to ensure that every girl is able to take part in these incredible experiences.  In addition to these 2 national tournaments, our girls will be playing 2-3 tournaments per month throughout Northern NV, Northern CA, and Las Vegas as we seek the best competition in our region to help us prepare.  We are conducting many of our own fundraisers but we also realize that not everyone will be local and be able to take part in the fundraising efforts.  This is why we are reaching out to you in an effort to obtain whatever financial support you can provide to this group of gifted and grateful student athletes.

Every girl on our roster was born in 2008 and they have been playing together for about 1 year now; several have been together longer.  On any given night at the indoor facility, you can find 5 or more of these girls taking lessons and perfecting their craft on non-practice nights.  Their passion for the game is unmistakable and the life lessons they are learning will last a lifetime.  The Nevada Lightning is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax exempt.  No donation is too small and all proceeds will go directly to this group of girls.
