Set among the spectacular White Mountains of New Hampshire, Neskaya Movement Arts Center was designed as "sacred space" for movement disciplines that are also spiritual practices. Our mission is to promote inner happiness, healthy social connections and world peace through the practice of celebrating our differences. By offering such activities as Sacred Circle Dance and Yoga we want to heal the divisions between soul and body, between people. We reach out to people everywhere with our online and in-person programs.

Did you know that Neskaya is a non-profit organization? As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in the USA we are supported in our work partly by generous donations from you and wonderful people like you.

But half of our funding comes from a single source that will disappear in just a few years. We are forever grateful to Neskaya’s founder, Jenny Deupree, who established this important organization, and has nurtured and funded it so generously since its inception in 1996. A donor-advised Fund set up by Jenny currently contributes half our income, but that Fund is finite and will soon be depleted.

It costs approximately US$50,000 a year for us to run Neskaya and its programs, so to secure our future when the Fund runs out, we need to increase the amount we raise in donations and through our programs.

What exactly does Neskaya offer?

On the physical level:

• A beautiful, and unusual, building with a dance floor and dormitory accommodation, nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

• The building is available for rental for retreats and vacations.

• Regular in-person Circle Dances twice monthly.

• Special weekend workshops and an annual Circle Dance Camp.

• Regular yoga and Nia sessions.

• Online programming

On the mental level:

• A willingness to explore new ideas

On the emotional level:

• A “home” where Circle Dancers can meet and spend time in community with one another.

On the spiritual level:

• A nexus of energy tapping into the ancient power of the Earth and growing over many years to create an energetic center – Neskaya is a node on the network
