(Our Purpose) At Need to Read (N2R), we are dedicated to supporting a child arriving at school ready to learn to read. We know that 85% of a child's brain develops before age five, making those early years critical for laying the groundwork. That is why we are on a mission to empower parents and caregivers to foster pre-reading skills from infancy and beyond. Through engaging literacy events hosted in daycare centers, Head Starts, and elementary schools, and by providing resources like books for home learning, we are nurturing a strong foundation for literacy in young minds... Together, let's create a future where every child has the tools they need to write their own story.
