Nature in the Classroom, Inc. seeks to enhance academic achievement, social-emotional development, and nurture a connection to the natural environment by donating tree canopy ceilings and murals to educational settings. Research has demonstrated that nature views out classroom windows or images of trees impact creative, cognitive, affective and social development. Students are more engaged and less distracted, demonstrate greater cooperative group dynamics, achieve higher grade point averages, higher test scores, increased graduation rates and college admissions.
