My name is Addy Fienman and I’m a rising high school junior in New York City. During the summer, I interned with my orthodontist where I had the opportunity to work with patients and empathize with the fears and concerns that many have when they come into the office.
I remember having those same concerns myself so I did my best to help put patients at ease. This experience helped me appreciate the importance of good dental hygiene and also feeling confident about one’s own smile.
I want to do something to help underserved children and adults gain access to dental care. Among all New Yorkers, 14% of children aged 2 through 13 years and 39% of adults aged 18 years and older did not have a preventive dental visit in the past year. This is a devastatingly high number and I want to help change that.
100% of your donation will go directly to America’s ToothFairy, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that increases access to oral health care by supporting nonprofit clinics and community partners delivering education, prevention and treatment services for underserved children.
Please join me in helping children and adults in our community gain access to preventative dental care and learn more about how to maintain good oral health.
