Hello! We are NAMI Urban Greater Cincinnati, a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Our mission is to improve the lives of family members, friends, and individuals living with mental health conditions or behavioral disorders within urban communities.

At NAMI Urban Greater Cincinnati, we understand how overwhelming mental health challenges can feel, but we want you to know—you are not alone. Our unwavering commitment is to provide accessible resources and foster mental health support for everyone in the Greater Cincinnati area. Together, we aim to build a stronger community, empower families, and encourage those affected to take their first steps toward support and education.

Why We Are Fundraising

We offer all NAMI signature programs at no cost to participants. One of these programs is the NAMI Family-to-Family class, an 8-week course designed for families, partners, and friends supporting a loved one with mental health conditions.

The course provides participants with essential tools, insights, and strategies to:

• Better understand mental illness

• Communicate effectively with their loved ones

• Become advocates for mental health in their community

Because we cannot charge for these programs, we rely on community support to keep them available for free. Your donation will ensure that families have access to these life-changing resources, regardless of financial ability.

The group is NAMI, National Alliance On Mental Health. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the whole point is for this small organization to allow educational groups and skill-building for anyone who struggles within themselves. Multiple groups/clubs can be rented/held as well in the empty rooms we have available at our building.

We’re a small nonprofit organization in the new area of Cincinnati that we are at, as we have moved to this new building over a year ago and are struggling to receive funding and grants to keep our new building open and thriving. Also to have the funds available to able to support our FREE small groups that are wanting to be held. Anything helps. This money goes straight to the organization.

I would also like to branch out and put the word out about our new location to attract the community!
