Arnav's 5K walk and fundraiser for NAMI
Hello,
I’m Arnav Bhatia and I’m a junior at Gunn High School I would like to raise awareness about mental health issues. I'm raising money to benefit NAMI Santa Clara County and organizing a 5K walk on May 15th. NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is non profit organization committed to supporting fulfilling lives for those affected by mental illness. Any donation will make an impact. You are not obligated to donate but please join me in walking a 5K on May 15th to raise awareness.

Location : Anywhere
Time: Anytime
Distance : 5K = 3.1 miles = 7000 steps!
You can come join me in person on the 15th -I will be sharing the details with the people registered,- or you can walk at home, on your treadmill or on a trail, ANYWHERE! You can walk at any time of the day. No matter when you do the walk, please follow your county, city and country COVID guidelines. We can all be safe, socially distant and still support the cause.
The pandemic has presented us with many challenges both as a community and as individuals. Those challenges have threatened not only our physical health, but our mental health as well. Though many of us have struggled individually to maintain our mental health during this time, it is important that we come together as a community and support each other collectively. Through this event, I hope to build a community to support good mental health and promote awareness around mental health issues.
