In Standard 9, my Junior Year in High School at Bergvliet High School in Cape Town, RSA, I suffered a Chemical Imbalance. Dr. Aleta Van Rooy supervised my Case and I enjoyed many years of Mental Stability until the Year 2000. I have been fortunate to have excellent Mental Healthcare Support in Texas, Nebraska, and Arkansas. I follow my Medical Protocols, am a Compliant Patient, and appreciate my Psychiatrist & Psychologist, their insights and wise Counsel. Still -- it is a struggle to stay stable and mentally fit. My Husband, Tod, our Son Matthew, + Sam + Coco (see picture) are my Support Team. I have signed up to Walk for NAMI to End the Stigma on October 12, Little Rock, AR. I walk for myself and for others who need the Advocacy. I am inviting you to make Donations to my GoFundMe which will be directed to NAMI Arkansas, and will benefit improvements for our State's Psychiatric Health, both Services and teaching towards Self-Advocacy. You may choose to Donate little or large, either way and, really, both ways are greatly appreciated by my Family and by NAMI Arkansas. My Family understands Mental Health Issues from the inside out and from various angles. Mental Health Matters, and always will matter to me and my Family. Thanks, in advance, for Donating.
