The NCS community and NCS Black Student Union is raising money to support the Black Lives Matter movement with a Fundraiser for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. The NCS community is horrified by the recent killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, and stands strong with all those who have been impacted by racial injustice in this country. 

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund is America's legal counsel on issues of race. Through advocacy and litigation,  LDF pursues racial justice to move our nation toward a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.

With all the recent events involving racial injustice and inequality in the United States, I found myself wanting to do more and make an impact. I'm raising money to benefit the Black Lives Matter movement through the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund by doing 10,000 soccer juggles over the course of 10 days. Want to join me in making a difference? You can become a sponsor for me and donate to the cause, or become a participant and gain sponsors of your own! Creating change will take time and a lot of effort but it can start with you, today. 

Interested in becoming a participant? During the month of April, you will do 1,000 juggles on 10 different days for a total of 10,000! Make sure to tell everyone you know about the fundraiser and try to get them to sponsor you to help reach our goal of $5,000. If it's easier, they can also donate to this Go Fund Me. As many of you have seen on our Instagram, Paula's Choice is celebrating Black History Month by featuring a different Black content creator we admire each week. In partnership with these content creators, we will be donating a total of $10,000 ($2,500 each) to organizations of their choice that benefit Black communities.  

In line with our commitment to continue to be a workplace that is inclusive of all and to help make changes in the community, we have decided to create this GoFundMe that will donate to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. 

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund is America's premier legal organization fighting for racial justice. The fight to defend our human and civil rights has never been more critical and donating to the NAACP can help.

This fundraiser is from two 9th graders who are deeply concerned about this issue and believe that as young people we have the power to help.  George Floyd. Time and time again, we have seen police target African American men and women and cause the death of many of them. Often officers are never convicted, yet hundreds of people have lost their lives due to police brutality. What happened to George Floyd makes us think that police are inhumane. To keep your knee pressed against the neck of a man for 8 minutes and 46 seconds without feeling remorse is appalling in our eyes. After seeing the grotesque footage that some of our close family and relatives couldn’t even bring themselves to watch, we are deciding to take action. The money you donate in this go fund me will go straight to NAACP Legal Defense Fund, which has been helping fight against police brutality and racism in America for 80 years. Many of you may think that you are powerless in the George Floyd case, but we can assure you that every dollar donated can and will serve a purpose to ensure that justice is served beyond arresting 4 officers. Currently, we know someone who has worked with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and that person had suggested we work with the fund for this fundraiser.

Hi everyone!

We are Aanya Rustogi and Nikita Gaur, students at Saratoga High School.  Due to the events that have been unfolding around us,  we have decided to dedicate our summer to supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement and slowing the spread of COVID-19. We must all do our part in the Black Lives Matter Movement to show support to our black brothers and sisters and finally eradicate the systemic racism in America. We believe that this racism is absolutely unacceptable, especially in this day and age, and that our generation needs to step up and bring change. 

This fundraiser supports the NAACP Legal Defenses and Educational Fund, which helps to win landmark legal battles, protect voters across the nation, and advance the cause of racial justice, equality, and an inclusive society.

Each mask is made of 100% cotton, washable with an interfacing fabric filter, and can be customized with initials. Together we can make a change!

In light of the recent tragedies regarding the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and Ahmaud Arbery, Harvard Football is committing itself to work together against systemic racism that permeates our nation and affects Black communities in all facets of American life.

This fundraiser will allocate money to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the leading United States civil rights organization and law firm focused on creating lasting positive change for our nation. These donations will serve as the first of many acts that the Harvard Football Family is taking to use our platform, resources, and privilege to end police brutality and social injustice.

A long unresolved problem has been brought back to the forefront of our daily lives. In the midst of the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, there has been resounding support to call and fight for the end of police brutality and systemic racism. As members of the Montclair community, social injustice surrounds us despite our pride in a diverse demographic. We would like to make a difference because this is not a moment, it is a movement.

The Montclair High School Boys Soccer team is hoping to fundraise for an organization that seeks to actively address police brutality and systemic racism. Our goal is to raise a total of $2,000. As excitement for the season grows, four weeks prior to the start of the season we will be voluntarily training 3 days a week ‪at 6:15‬ in the morning. We have set up this GoFundMe to encourage friends and family members of each player to donate for each session the player attends. We will be donating the money we raise to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. We hope that you will be able to contribute and remember this is not just a moment but it is a movement.
