MISSION: Musicians Foundation is the nation’s oldest independent nonprofit providing direct financial assistance to professional musicians in times of need. VISION: No professional musician is left behind during life's challenges. PROGRAM: We offer rapid, practical relief through small grants that stabilize urgent situations like rent arrears, medical bills, and disaster recovery. Our two-part online application prioritizes access and dignity for all musicians. HISTORY: Since 1914, the support from legendary musicians, including Leonard Bernstein, Pablo Casals, Vladimir Horowitz, Yo-Yo Ma, and Isaac Stern, and philanthropists like Walter Naumburg, Charles Steinway, and Vera Stern, has helped us reach thousands of musicians across all 50 states.
