MSforward

MSForward was started in Omaha, NE (my hometown) by Daryl Kucera, who also has MS.  Daryl has a B.S. in Fitness Science with a focus on Medical Fitness Specialization. A Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Sports Conditioning Coach by the International Fitness Professionals Association; he is also the founder and owner of Fast Forward. Daryl was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2001, and can personally attest to the need for physical fitness to combat the potentially damaging effects of the condition.

I am raising money as a part of LinkedIn's July "InDay" fundraising efforts.  Each month, all LinkedIn employees are encouraged to do something that means something to them, volunteer, or help a charity that is near and dear to their hearts.  MSForward is truly that for me.  My mother, Teresa, was diagnosed with MS in 1990, when she was just 40 years old.  She has since been battling the dibilitating effects of this crippling disease.  She has been bound to a scooter and unable to walk for the last 15 years, but with the help of Daryl and MSForward, has been able to regain strength in her legs and even stand up on her own for a few minutes at a time.  It's definitely a positive "first step" to walking again and I would greatly appreciate anything you can do to help make that dream a reality for her.
