My Journey 2 Ms Wheelchair America
Dear friends, family & all interested in supporting my cause,
As some of you are already aware, I was recently crowned Ms. Wheelchair Louisiana and will be representing the great state of Louisiana at the national, Ms. Wheelchair America , competition. I will then go on to serve as the state coordinator for the Louisiana program. Leading up to the national competition, I will be traveling across the state, to various community events, speaking engagements and festivals, educating others about the benefits of standing and other forms of exercise, using readily available technology. Increasing access to this type of information is one of my main goals, as I have reaped the benefits of these technologies for the last 30 years. I believe that everyone with a disability should have access to information and technology which improves their health!
As an independent delegate, within the Ms. Wheelchair America, Inc. organization, I will be taking on the responsibility of building and developing Louisiana’s state program. With your support through donations, I will take the next steps in building a program that will serve as a platform to improve the lives of men, women and children with disabilities, through education and access to the same information and technology that I use in my everyday life.
All funds will go towards the development of Louisiana’s state program, expenses for state events and the entry fee and expenses for the national competition, which will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in July.
Ms. Wheelchair America, Inc. has been in existence since 1972 and is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity; therefore, your donation is tax deductible. The Federal ID number is 52-1671000.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, for your interest in providing a donation, to help the disabled community by supporting my campaign. I couldn't do it without you!
Sincerely,
Karen Roy
