Following the lightning complex fires in 2020, the Big Basin Volunteer Trail Crew lost all of the materials and tools (McLeods, Pulaskis, loppers, cross-cut saw, hand saws, shovels, etc) used to maintain and repair the trails that visitors use at Big Basin State Park. I have always enjoyed nature and have been volunteering with the Trail Crew to keep Big Basin without the frustrations of litter, rough trails, and obstructions. It would mean a lot to me and the other volunteers to be able to help rebuild the park and the trails, so that people can enjoy it once again.
