It’s Read-A-Thon time again!

I’m excited to be raising money to benefit Montessori at Sandy Ford, and any donation will make a significant impact. This is our 11th annual Read-A-Thon, and it’s the primary fundraiser we have each year.

Reading has become one of my biggest passions, and I now spend most of my extra time immersed in books. The Read-A-Thon started on December 21st, and I’m off to a great start.

Your support means the world to me and my school. In the past, your generous contributions have helped me secure the most sponsors and/or raise the most money for my class. I couldn’t have done it without you, and I’m hoping for your continued support this year.

Hi Family!

We are helping our school, Montessori at Sandy Ford, with its annual Read-A-Thon fundraising campaign. Together, we have pledged to read an hour and a half everyday for 30 days. This is a big challenge!

Next week we will complete our Read-In where we read all night long with our peers! Teachers and parents will be there to stay awake to check off our minutes every half

hour.

This is our school's main fundraiser of the year. The money we raise will go towards bettering our playgrounds and outdoor spaces.

Hi! We’re Grayson and Gillie and we’re helping our school, Montessori at Sandy Ford, with its annual Read-A-Thon fundraising

campaign. We’re pledging to put down devices for an hour and a half every day for 29 days in order to read. That's 2610 minutes. This is a big challenge!

If you would like to sponsor me, you can either donate a set amount here, or you can contact me (or my mom) with a per minute pledge - then, when the Read-A-Thon is over, I'll let you know how much I read.

The Read-A-Thon ends on a Saturday, and the night before we have a dinner and sleepover at the school and can stay up and read all night long if we want to! Teachers and parents are there who stay awake to check off our minutes every half hour.

This is our school's main fundraiser of the year. Last year’s Read-A-Thon raised over $13,700, which was used for new picnic tables, a

“ninja line,” and a new printer for the school! 53 students participated, raising an average of $259

each. We wanna beat that average by at least double and we’re willing to work for it! So on to of our reading, we also wrote a rap that we’ll perform if we just have TEN people commit any amount to our fundraiser (and get likes on our moms social media post).

Hello...we are Autumn and Elliana Sands. We are participating in a Read-a-Thon to raise money for our school Montessori at Sandy Ford. In doing so we pledge to read every night for a set amount of time for the following 30 days, and we ask that our donors pledge to support us either in a flat amount or based on the minutes we actually complete. Autumn has committed to reading for thirty minutes every night and Elliana has committed to ten minutes. We are very excited about this opportunity to give back to the community that has helped us blossom while growing our love of reading. We hope that you can support us whether it be financially, by holding space and lifting us up in prayer, or by sharing this with those who might want to support us. We thank you for all the love and support sent our way to help us meet our goal of $1000.

Hi. Our family greatly values reading, which is why we love our school's major fundraiser, a Read-a-thon! Eliza has set a lofty goal of reading for 1 hour every day for 29 days. She is looking for those who can donate/pledge money for her minutes read. So far she has read over 900 minutes in 18 days! Wow, good job Eliza!! Help her keep up the pace by donating/pledging today.

The money we raise for the school will go towards things like new books, a new sign out front, and usually an enhancement to the playground or other areas the children love at our school!
