MIVO Charitable Foundation

The MIVO Foundation has been serving the people of Haiti with Christ-centered orthopedic care since 2009.  We now provide orthopedic care year round in our Centre located in L'Estere, Haiti under the guidance of Dr. Gracia Etienne.  Our foundation presently finds itself in a crossroads.  In order to move forward to provide the ever-rising surgical care of our patients in Haiti we must purchase a larger electrical generator.  As the acuity and severity of our patients grows, so do our needs in the operating room.  We need sufficient electricity to provide adequate lighting in the OR, proper cooling to the room itself, energy to boot our portable xray device, and run the autoclave necessary to sterilize our equipment.  There is no local electricity to be purchased in this outlying area of Haiti.  The cost of an adequate generator is $28,000.  We are halfway there in our fund raising.  God is faithful!

We must share, there are literally patients waiting for our capability to perform larger, intricate, life-saving surgeries.  Our next mission team travels to the Centre in January of 2018.  We are praying fervently that we will be able to purchase the generator by this trip.  We are told in 2nd Samuel that "You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light."  Will you be a part of The MIVO Foundation being used by God as that light which expels the darkness of sickness, disability, and despair?   We are in need of your help.  Would you considera year end donation to us?  For more information you can visit www.mivofoundation.org or  our public facebook page.
