Tayahua, Mexico Needs You! Mission Chepito 2025
At Mission Chepito, we are wholeheartedly committed to dedicating our time, expertise, and resources to support the women, children, and elderly of Tayahua, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Since 2015, we have passionately served the Tayahua community through a variety of impactful programs, including:
- After-School Programs
- Food Distribution
- Community Building Initiatives
These efforts are made possible through the grace and love of Jesus Christ, alongside the steadfast prayers, support, and generosity of those who believe in our mission. For this, we are deeply humbled and endlessly grateful.
Our measure of success is not monetary but rooted in grace, love, prayer, and the honorable dedication of our team, donors, and volunteers.
At this time, we are focusing on a donation drive, as we have reached only 34% of our 2025 budget. This does not yet account for our planned push projects or unforeseen expenses.
Below is the estimated yearly budget for Mission Chepito:
Staffing: $7,900
School Supplies: $3,300
Building Supplies: $700
Food: $6,500
Utilities: $1,000
Travel: $6,300
Technology: $400
Miscellaneous: $800
Holiday Events: $2,400
Total: $29,300
While we celebrate our progress, there is still much to be done. Many children remain on the waiting list. Some live too far from the center, while others cannot attend because their mothers, often single, cannot bring them due to work commitments.
Current Push Projects:
1. Reconstruction of the Second Building:
Our top priority is to repair and rebuild the second building, with an estimated budget of $10,400. Once completed, this will enable us to open the second classroom and accommodate more students from the waiting list.
2. Van for Student Transportation:
Providing reliable transportation will help children who live far from the center attend school regularly.
In addition to these efforts, we are enhancing our online presence by improving the website and launching a bimonthly email newsletter.
As we look ahead to 2025, we are filled with hope and faith, knowing that God works through the kindness and compassion of His people.
