Miracles In Motion Inc

Miracles in Motion, Inc. is a dance studio specifically designed to empower the Special needs community. Our mission, “Provide quality dance instruction to special dancers with special needs while promoting awareness in our community through the joy of dancing!” We have been in business since 2007. We became a non-profit in 2013. We serve 50 dancers and 50 volunteers year-round.

In 2020 our new program, Virtual Dance Unlimited was created so that we could continue to provide services through the COVID-19 pandemic. Majority of our students have significant health issues that require strict quarantine. The program provided them with at least 15 virtual classes throughout the week. Our efforts were well received, and the program was a success. Unfortunately, not all our students are able to handle attending a class virtually. Our student population was reduced causing loss of income for the studio. This past year funding resources such as grants and awards were cut or postponed indefinitely, fundraising events for our studio were cancelled and donations minimal. This has put a significant financial strain on our studio. We worked hard to cut back all we could to make it through the year. We were finally able to get back into the studio for summer dance camp and it was incredible! The dancers and their families were so excited to be dancing again. There must have been rainbows pouring out of the top of our building! This fall we are returning to the studio to try and rebuild all that we have lost. After this crazy year, we are ready to brighten the world with hope and love through our dancing.

When you give, your funds will be put towards:

-General costs for the upcoming re-opening of in person classes at our studio.

-Funding of our Tuition assistance program which helps support our families as they endure increasing costs for our student’s needed medical treatments and therapies.

-Studio rent and equipment.

-Upcoming public performance.

-Marketing and promotional materials.

-The funding of our 2022 annual fundraising recital.
