NYC Marathon Fundraiser in Honor of Ryan Walsh
Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,
This summer, one of Amplify's employees, Ryan Walsh, passed away suddenly. Ryan had worked at Amplify for over 6 years in a variety of roles, most recently as a DevOps Engineer. Ryan was amazingly generous, thoughtful, hard-working, collaborative and tenacious. We miss him greatly.
On Sunday November 3rd, I will run in the New York City Marathon in honor of Ryan. The funds I raise will go to an organization chosen by Ryan's family, the Mill Neck Foundation and School for the Deaf. Ryan was born with a hearing disability which affected his ability to speak and to learn. The Mill Neck Foundation helped treat Ryan’s condition and “turned his life around”.
