Miles of Hope

Miles of Hope is dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned pets. The dogs and cats in our care come from all over North Texas and in a variety of stages of medical needs. The vast majority of them need to be spayed or neutered & microchipped and all need vaccinations. Some come to us with injuries that require x-rays, sutures, or surgeries. Others need treatment for heart worms, mange, upper respiratory illnesses, and infections, just to name a few. Still others may not need immediate vet care, just extra love. Those that come in underweight or scared need extra time with us so we can give them the TLC they need to get ready for adoption. We have amazing fosters but most of the dogs stay at the shelter until families come adopt them.

Caring for over 100 dogs and 40 cats daily is a task we happily take on to ensure successful outcome for our furry friends and we need your help along the way!! Our adoption fees cover the cost of the spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and heart worm & fecal tests. Funding for other medical care we give to our animals in need comes from donations from generous supporters. With your help, we can continue saving the animals and giving them the loving fur-ever homes they deserve.
