Mighty Writers teaches kids 3-17 throughout Philadelphia, Chester County and New Jersey to think clearly and write with clarity through free high-quality programs that improve academic performance, address educational inequities and build social-emotional skills. We focus on amplifying the voices of our students while providing free high-quality, community-oriented writing programs. As a result, grades improve, self-esteem soars and futures come into view. Our approach is focused on the whole child. We offer free distribution of food, diapers, books, school supplies and other essential resources in the communities we serve. Ultimately, we want our students to be critical thinkers and clear communicators who reflect our three core values: resilience, respect and optimism.
