Luke Sigle is fundraising

Mighty Micah Foundation Research Grant Fundraiser
Today is Giving Tuesday but is also 5 years since Micah Elizabeth Sigle was born on December 1, 2015. She passed away on January 1, 2016 after 31 days of fighting a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH).
Shortly after her death in 2016, Leah and Luke Sigle launched the Mighty Micah Foundation Inc (501c3 non-profit) after receiving generous gifts from people moved by her story. This was a wonderful opportunity to honor her month-long fight. The original mission was to support families during their time in the hospital. While still an important mission, the recent focus of the non-profit has shifted to raising enough money to fund a research grant for an individual researching CDH or complications resulting from CDH. We believe this is a fantastic way to help in the fight against CDH over the long term.
The Mighty Micah Foundation Inc currently has approximately $25,000 on-hand which puts us in a position to fund a $31,000 ($1,000 for each day she lived) grant during 2021 while still maintaining our mission to support families.
This year we have a donor willing to match all donations up to $15,500 given to the Mighty Micah Foundation during the month of December 2020. This will all but ensure we will have the funds to launch our first grant efforts next year.
Please consider giving to the Mighty Micah Foundation on Giving Tuesday and throughout the special 31 days of December. Every dollar you give will be doubled this month as we stretch to our goal of $15,500 raised in December 2020!
