A brief history regarding the development of this project:
Midwest Islamic Center acquired this building in 2016. It was a joyous occasion when MIC announced that Al-Huda Academy will have a proper building where our ever-growing enrollment could be accommodated. Upon moving into the building we realized every time it rained water would leak into the classrooms and require costly repairs. Since then we have invested close to $50,000 in the last 5 years to repair the roof. At this point, industry professionals have recommended that it is best to replace the roof. They estimate the roof replacement will cost $170,000. The roofers will be building a new roof on the existing roof to ensure minimal disruption to students and staff. We ask you to see this roof replacement as an investment in the long-term sustainability of our school and the wonderful Islamic education that takes place under its roof. We are grateful for your support! May Allah (swt) reward your efforts tenfold.
