Help PRSA Tampa Bay help Metropolitan Ministries serve thousands of families in need for the holidays this year! At this year's PRSA Tampa Bay holiday mixer, we're continuing our annual tradition of hosting a toy drive to collect items for drop-off off at the Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent.

In parallel with this effort, we’re also hosting this online fundraiser through which you can make cash donations directly to Metropolitan Ministries. If you're unable to come to our holiday mixer on Dec. 4 and donate a toy, please consider this online option and make a gift to Metropolitan Ministries here, quickly and securely.

Their mission is to alleviate suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency as an expression of the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ. We are a group of USF students passionate about giving back to our community. For our project, Stampede to Feed, we’re partnering with Metropolitan Ministries to help fight hunger in the Tampa Bay area. From October 1 to November 30, we’ll be hosting food drives, sharing Amazon wishlists, and raising funds to support families in need especially in neighborhoods like Ybor City, Belmont Heights, and Carver City.

Hunger is a real issue affecting so many people around us, and we want to do our part to help. All donations raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to Metropolitan Ministries to help provide meals, groceries, and support services to local families.

Our goal is to collect enough food and funds to feed at least four families for a full week. With your help, we can do even more.

Hello, my name is Kaiden Dang, and I am working with my partner, Devin, to raise funds for the charity called "Metropolitan Ministries". We were inspired to do this because of our school's Community Project.

We chose Metro Min because they help people who are struggling financially by giving them a temporary shelter, food, and everything they need to recuperate and become successful again. I have been volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries for 4 years, and I aways love to help out in the kitchen, serving food, and washing the dishes. I care about this cause because I believe that helping your family is necessary, but once you are well set, helping others do the same is of upmost importance, because helping others who cannot help themselves is the greatest cause ever known to man. All of the funds raised will go to Metropolitan Ministries.

Let's continue the Harbor Links and Estates Luminary tradition of lighting up the neighborhood and helping those in need.

This year Harbor Links resident and Jesuit High school student Colin Maloney is organizing this school service project with other neighborhood friends.

100% of donations will be given to Metropolitan Ministries.

From Tuesday, December 24rd - Thursday, December 26th, our Harbor Links neighborhood will be illuminated with 1000 beautiful luminaries!

Luminaries will be assembled, placed along the neighborhood streets, and cleaned up after a few days.

As Ritz residents, please consider joining together to help families recover from the devastation left by historic back to back hurricanes. Metropolitan Ministries continues to excel at what they have done for 52 years: alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency for at-risk and homeless families. Their work is magnified due to these storms. Thank you for helping Metro give HOPE to families who lost everything throughout our region in Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

Leadership Tampa's Class of 2022 is helping Metropolitan Ministries refresh 48 residential rooms that are in dire need of an update, including new linens and decor.

Metropolitan Ministries has seen a tremendous increase in the number of families seeking shelter because of the affordable housing crisis. Rooms have had a much higher usage rate since the start of the pandemic, creating more wear and tear on facilities.
