The Friends of MELROSE METCO, proudly sponsored by METAFOLD, are raising funds for the Let's Say Thank You: Staff Appreciation Gift Fund for our amazing METCO team—those everyday heroes who support our students and families in the town of Melrose.

This gesture is a small but meaningful way to thank the dedicated staff who ensure every child feels seen and supported.

Bonus Impact: Any additional funds raised will go directly to the METCO Scholarship Fund, helping support the next generation of students on their educational journeys. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.

For a 3rd year in a row, Metafold will be providing over 3 dozen backpacks from black-owned brand, Blended Designs, as well as other school and house necessities to families in the Boston area. As in previous years, the distribution of the backpacks will take place during the Annual Black Market Fair in August. The Black Market Fair was inspired by the "Black Dollar Days" initiative that became popular in 2019, focusing on generating wealth and the desired circulation of the dollars spent by black and brown families.

With the generosity of our friends, supporters, and community, we've been able to assist more and more families each year since we started.
