Camp Hope Stimulus Campaign
Camp Hope is a self-governing transitional living community that provides temporary, shelter in the form of tents, showers, and cooking facilities to the homeless population of Las Cruces. The program is run by the amazing local non-profit Mesilla Valley Community of Hope (MVCH). MVCH’s services include day shelter, temporary overnight shelter at Camp Hope, intensive case management, housing programs, and assistance with transitioning out of homelessness and into stable housing.

3. 50 Sleeping Bags: $2,500
4. Extra Hygiene Products: $100
Who we are: We are enrolled in the course the Social Impact of Film, taught by Professor Ilana Lapid, and launched this project as a way to use our creative voices to have an impact on our community. We are working with Kyle Ivy, Mario Martinez along with the students in the Social Impact of Film course. We are supported by Nicole Martinez, the Executive Director of Mesilla Valley Community of Hope, and her team.
