McAuliffe at Smiley Foundation

Our teachers need classroom supplies, and the McAuliffe at Smiley Foundation, with your help, wants to fund their classroom needs! Students need pencils and graph paper and highlighters and snacks (hungry bellies can't learn). Your $29 donation buys 320 pencils. If you can spare $50, we'll buy 2000 sheets of graph paper for one of our math classes. A generous $220 will give our 6th engineering team reusable wooden blocks to help your students create amazing new things. An over-the-top generous $525 gives Mrs. Moore's Social Media Club all the tools they need to learn to be responsible users and consumers of their Socials.

(Do you wonder why we fundraise for classroom supplies separately from our regular McAuliffe at Smiley Foundation fundraising? The McAuliffe at Smiley Foundation was created, first and foremost, to provide disadvantaged students with what they need to be successful. After that, we sponsor scholarships to expand student experiences and love on our teachers and staff. Then, if anything is left, we help our school’s leadership pay for capital improvements. To be immediate and transparent in spending for something outside our charter, like classroom supplies, we fundraise separately.)
