Memory Care Garden
Through this fund, we are creating a garden that offers engaging and meaningful activities for our residents. This serene space provides opportunities for sensory stimulation, reflection and connection for residents and families.
In loving memory of Audrey Pekor, a beloved resident of the Stafford Shores Memory Care Unit. Her legacy will continue to inspire and bring comfort to others.
A team of Florida state certified Master Gardner volunteers is working with the Seeds of Inclusion Therapeutic Horticulture Program to support the garden, residents, families and staff. Sarafaith Pekor is Audrey's daughter and a former rehabilitation therapist. She has led lifestyle activities for seniors for nearly 25 years and is certified in Healthcare Therapeutic Design through the Chicago Botanic Garden.
