For Masjid Badrudeen and Plaza
In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful:
This fundraiser is being held in support of Masjid Badrudeen Inc. in Atlanta, GA.
First off, we are hoping and praying that all of you and your families are doing well during this time of hardship. We ask Allah to protect us from this pandemic and all severe illnesses.
Because of the pandemic, our congregation has not been able to gather at the Masjid as is our normal practice during the blessed month of Ramadan. Georgia government currently prohibits large gatherings unless very strict social distancing practices are employed.
As a side effect to these circumstances, we haven't been able to reach out to our generous sponsors from among the community members as we normally do in Ramadan, so today we are re-launching this online fundraising campaign in order to secure funds to cover the Masjid's bills, ongoing expenses/programs and repay the loans our community members have generously supported the Masjid and its activities with.
Today we are reaching out to our community, our brothers and our sisters and asking them to help this house of Allah succeed and thrive. Any donation you make will help make an impact. And want to remind each and every one of you that any money you spend will be replenished by Allah and never does wealth decrease from charity. Those who spend in the cause of Allah sincerely shall have no sadness and there is no fear upon them.
We thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to so many families in and around the area, and to the many who follow the masjid's programs from around the world through our online broadcast.

Prior to the current orders enforcing social distancing practices, the masjid was open for the 5 daily prayers, the Friday prayer, and for the weekend Quran school program for children. Additionally, we hosted several ongoing weekly classes, in addition to nightly free iftar (sunset meal) being provided for the masjid guests every night of Ramadan. With your help and support, we will - by the permission of Allah - offer much more in the future. The potential for greater things is tremendous and the bounties of Allah are without limit.
