Greetings from Marvellous Menagerie!

For those who aren’t familiar with us, we are an animal rescue based in Waseca, MN, which specializes in foxes, mink, and neonatal kittens. We need your help for one of those kittens, who has grown into a handsome boy and has gotten himself in trouble.

Rumtumtugger (named for the character in the musical “Cats”) is a friendly, boisterous little guy. He waits for his foster mom at the door when she gets home from work, tells her all about his day, and after that will ride around on her shoulder supervising. He doesn’t want to miss out on any details. Unbeknownst to anyone, he was also a little guy with congenital hip dysplasia, which put him at high risk for dislocating one or both of his hips. And though we don’t know how, it has happened.

Tugger has dislocated both of his hips, and needs to have a specialized surgery called an FHO. The good news is, the prognosis for cats who need an FHO is excellent, and once he heals, he’ll be bopping around like a normal cat in no time.

The bad news is, the surgery will cost us $6000.

We are asking for your help to cover the cost of the surgery for Tugger. Anything you can spare is appreciated. We want to get this done as soon as possible, to relieve Tugger from the pain he is in and to get him back to the search for his forever home. Please meet Cinnamon, she is a 3 year old Bengal who fell 3 stories from a balcony. She has a fractured pelvis and a pneumothorax.

She desperately needs our help to save her life.

Cinnamon is on oxygen support and is stable, for now, but her respiration rate is varying wildly, leaving open the possibility that she will need a tap to release the pressure In her chest.

She is going to need surgery to fix her pelvic fracture.

She had to be surrendered because her family could not afford the care she needed. She’s suffered awful trauma, and lost her family all in the same day.

PLEASE, please help me save her. I know we have had a heavy year for medical cases, but your support and generosity has saved so many lives and we can save hers too, if we continue to work together.

Meet Muffin.

She was found in the engine block of a car, taken to an auto shop, in really rough shape. She is only 7 weeks old and my rescue took her in with a massive upper respiratory infection, possible pneumonia, suspected broken leg and swelling to the left side of her face.

I rushed Muffin to AERC, here in Minnesota, which is a specialty emergency hospital; where her blood glucose was only 35, she is running a fever and is struggling to breathe.

All hope is not lost for this sweet, amazing, little fighter, but we desperately need your help to save her life. Her bill is easily going to be in the thousands. Please, please help us to help her get a chance at the life she deserves.

Thomas is a stray who was hit by a car and found by a Good Samaritan after he showed up on their porch asking for help. He was surrendered to us with a double break to his pelvis and healing breaks in his right leg. He also has an infected wound on his left foot from dragging his leg or so long. He is also suffering from a double ear infection. All this and he isn’t even a year old.

Please help me to cover his medical costs so we can get him well and find his forever home. He is so sweet, even in so much pain, and deserves a happy ending.
