We are a volunteer organization dedicated to maintaining Canby, Oregon's Mark Prairie Schoolhouse and its grounds, as well as collecting and preserving documents, photographs, and other items pertaining to local history for education and research purposes. The schoolhouse sustained catastrophic damage in 2011 ice storm. We are in the process of restoring it and are raising money for that purpose. The Mark Prairie Historical Society is a registered 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.
