Manheim Summer Swim Team

As many people in the Manheim community have heard, the Manheim Borough plans to close the main pool for the 2019 Summer Season citing operating cost and maintenance as the main reasons.  The baby pool and competition pool are to remain open at least through the end of next summer.  The Manheim Swim Team is initiating this Go Fund Me page but please understand the funds will go directly to the Manheim Borough to help offset the costs of the upcoming summer season and to make some necessary repairs to the  main pool, not to support the Swim Team directly. We are asking each member of the Manheim community to pull together to help keep the main pool open so that all can continue to enjoy this fun, summer pastime. 

A chartable group that utilizes the main pool throughout the summer has also pledged funds separately towards keeping the pool open but is asking the community to come together to raise additional money. 

Unfortunately the Borough Council will be meeting on Tuesday, November 27th to make their final decision so we need to try to obtain our fundraising goal prior to that meeting.  If we all pull together, we can save our pool! Your donation is greatly appreciated!!
