Hi Everyone, this is Halle Howdershell and I'm Elle's older sister. This October 12th is the 7 year anniversary of Elle's passing. Elle passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 11, on October 12th, 2013. Elle was such a great person with an extraordinary soul. She was a force to be reckoned with and brought so much light into many people's lives. This year I would like to honor my sister by raising money to be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation. The Make a Wish Foundation is a charity that is close to my heart. Before Elle passed away she was granted a wish and she wished to get a customized pink bike (It was so Elle!). It brought so much joy for her to have a bike that she could ride! Elle had lost motor function on her right side and therefore had a hard time with many things. This bike was equipped so she could be able to ride it normally. I would like to raise money in honor of Elle to give other kids a once in a life time opportunity to make a wish.  I understand that times right now are hard and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Elle's legacy lives on!

My name is Braxton Dente. I am 14 years old and I play Quarterback for the Barberton Magic.

Every off-season I train almost every day to get ready for the next season. Each off-season I am motivated to help a charity raise money for kids while I train.

Starting January 1st, It is my pledge to throw a football 10,000 times during my training in the hopes that you will donate $10 to the Make A Wish Foundation to benefit kids that might not be able to play this season due to illness. I chose the Make A Wish Foundation because they impact the lives of kids by granting wishes to sick kids. I first learned about them by watching videos of granted wishes on YouTube.

My name is Landen Martinez and I am 10 years old.  I have been challenged to hike Mt. Fuji in Japan by my dad.  My first hike was at 6 years old up the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, N.M. where I am from.  It was a 7.5 mile hike to 10,000 feet.  Before the hike my dad checked the weather.  It said clear skies.  We ran into a horrendus lightning, thunder and rain storm.  The lightning was so bad it was shaking the canyon.  I began to cry and scream we are going to die.  My dad got down on both knees and said we are too far up to turn back and there is shelter at the top.  It is getting dark and very cold.  The rain was coming down so fast we could barely see in front of us.  We had no jackets because of the weather report.  He got down on both knees looked me in the eyes and  and told me "you are right, we are going to die, you are going to die and I am going to die, we are all going to die just not today."  We just kept moving even though we had three more miles of rough terrain to go.  I wanted to quit and he would not let me.  He basically pulled me up the mountain.  After I was so happy I made it.  My dad told me I never quit or gave up.  I now love to hike, play sports, piano, trumphet, drums and I am in my school band.  I love skateboarding and funny movies and funny TV shows.  For as long as I can remember I have always been taught that nothing is easy and nothing good is free.  I have also been taught hard work pays off and to never quit at anything you try and always help others.  My father has now challenged me to hike mount Fuji which is over 12,300 feet.  All money donated is going directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.   I love to help people out and would love to help other kids who are sick have their dreams and wishes come true.  I am always told to never ask anyone for anything.  Today I am asking you to help these sick kids wishes come true.  My dad and I will be hiking the second week of July 2015.  My father is paying for us to get out there so as you can see every single dollar donated goes to directly to Make-A- Wish National Foundation.  I am very humbled and thankful for any donations.  Thank you and have  a great day.

Phil Chmura has been riding for 25 years. Cycling coast-to-coast is one of the many highlights on his bucket list.

Phil has selected the Make a Wish Foundation of America as his charity of choice for financial contributions. His goal is to raise $5,500 -- $100 for each day of riding.

The entire ride will be completed over 9 weeks and consists of 55 ride days and 8 rest days. He will cover 13 states, 4,272 miles and average 68-86 miles/day.
