On November 3rd, 2024, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon, not just for the love of the race but to support a cause that is has changed the lives of nearly 400,000 children —Magic Bus.
Why Magic Bus?
Magic Bus is a charity that transforms the lives of children in poverty, giving them the tools and opportunities to break the cycle and create brighter futures. Through education, mentorship, and life skills, Magic Bus empowers children to rise above their circumstances and become change-makers in their communities.
Here’s the incredible impact Magic Bus has made:
- 40% reduction in child marriage in the communities they serve, giving young girls the chance to pursue education and a brighter future.
- 98% of children who participate in Magic Bus programs complete their schooling, significantly increasing high school graduation rates and the opportunities that come with it.
