I am a high school counselor and 2 of my students have recently become homeless. I volunteer every Sunday for the MAE Organization for the Homeless and they often put homeless people up in hotels but they are currently at capacity. My students have a place to stay beginning Oct 1 but in the meantime, they are having to stay in a motel. One of my students is paying the bill for the motel but he can only afford 4 days worth of motel bills. They had to put their stuff in storage as well so that's an additional cost.
UPDATE: Their only car died as well and that's what they use to get their mom to work and themselves to school. Therefore I'm adding some additional money to cover the repair of the car so their mom can get to her job at a local restaurant and they can get to school from the motel.

$3000 would pay for the motel,their storage and the car repair until the end of the month.
I hope you will consider helping these 2 kids (and their mom and grandma). They are awesome, respectful, kind and generous. I know they would do the same for someone else if they were in need.
