Purpose & Goal:
I’m organizing this GoFundMe fundraiser to assist Madinatul Uloom Institute (MUI) in its’ efforts to establish an Islamic boarding school for the community. Many people in the South Florida vicinity would like to enroll their children, but are unable to commute.
The primary goal for MUI is to raise a total of $200,000—however, this fundraiser has a goal of $2,000, as an attempt to fulfill 1% of the primary goal, or more (إن شاء الله), during the remainder of Ramadan.
Call to Action:
For the giver who gives for the sake of their Lord (ﷻ), for as long as it stands, this will be an opportunity to earn an immense, multiplied, and continuous reward from The Most Generous (الكريم). Just envision—your contribution will go towards establishing an Islamic boarding school from which several generations, boys and girls, young men and women, present, and future, will learn and benefit in comfort and safety, under the guidance of learned teachers (بإذن الله).
This is a great example of, “investing for the future”—and it’s of utmost importance to invest in a project that will contribute to the safeguarding and advancement of the community of believers (أمة). I can continue emphasizing the importance of this project, and its' various immediate/potential benefits, but for the sake of brevity, I'd rather encourage you by presenting you with four particular verses from The Noble Qur'an instead.
- Who will lend to Allah a good loan which Allah will multiply many times over? It is Allah ˹alone˺ who decreases and increases ˹wealth˺. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned. [Qur'an 2:245]
- Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. [Qur’an 2:274]
- By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give freely of that which you love, and whatever you give, Allah knows it well. [Qur’an 3:92]
- Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allāh a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward. [Qur'an 57:18]
About Madinatul Uloom Institute:
Based in Lauderhill, Florida (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale), Madinatul Uloom Institute (MUI) serves as both a mosque and an institute of Islamic education and knowledge, catering to the essential spiritual and human needs of the South Florida community for over a decade—by the grace of Allah (ﷻ).
The name of our institute is Arabic in origin, which simply translates to, "City of Knowledge".
