Imagine being 16, hearing a classmate died in a DUI crash—and knowing no one ever warned them how fast one decision could destroy everything. This campaign helps prevent that moment. We’re working with MADD Northern California to bring life-saving DUI education into schools before tragedy strikes.
Hi, I’m Laura — a nurse and lifelong resident of Northern California, raising funds to protect lives in our community through DUI prevention education in schools.
Over 1,135 people were arrested for DUI in California during Memorial Day weekend 2025 alone. That number hit home for me — someone I love was one of them. Thankfully, no one was hurt. But it was a wake-up call I can’t ignore.
I started this fundraiser because I believe we can prevent these tragedies before they happen. One mistake shouldn’t have to cost a life, and education is the most powerful tool we have to stop impaired driving at its roots.
We’re partnering with MADD Northern California to support their youth-focused DUI prevention programs — bringing life-saving education into classrooms, assemblies, and parent workshops.
Here’s how you can help:
$1 = 1 student. $25 = a classroom. $100 = an entire grade level.
Every single dollar helps reach another student before they ever get behind the wheel. Whether you give $5 or simply share this campaign, you’re helping protect futures, promote responsibility, and make our roads safer for everyone.

Let’s stop DUI before it starts — and make sure 1,135 is a number we never reach again.
