Give Petunia and Mac a Healthy Future
Please help Petunia and Mac!
Petunia was rescued from a breeder who was selling "hypoallergenic" French bulldogs. Yes, you heard right, hairless Frenchies! Fortunately, Petunia is healthy, but she does have trouble breathing and an elongated soft palate that needs BOAS surgery. Petunia is one and a half years old, loves all people and other dogs, and deserves to have a long and healthy life. She will be available for adoption through Luvable Dog Rescue after she has fully recovered. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
You all may remember Mac's story. He was found in a parking lot in an emaciated condition and taken to Oakland Animal Services. Mac came to Luvable and has recovered completely in a loving foster home. Mac also has an elongated soft palate and needs BOAS surgery to live a normal life. Unfortunately, breeders are not held accountable for the congenital problems they create, and it is up to us to help these dogs. Both Petunia and Mac have so much love to give! Luvable is receiving a rescue discount, but we still need to raise about $3,500 for both procedures. Please consider donating to our fundraiser.
