I was inspired by my Aunt Casey (Dr. Casey Hogan) who severely suffers and has been impacted by Lupus. She has been in and out of hospitals with kidney stones, thyroid problems, etc., and went through chemotherapy while still being there for her patients, family and friends.  She never gave up and continued as the president of Special Olympics to help improve the lives of others.  

Despite her illness, she always put others before herself and goes everyday with a positive mindset. No matter challenges she has to face, she is always holding onto hope and encouraging others with illnesses and disabilities.
